🖼️ Big Tonic Framing is a sustainable picture framing workshop in Bristol. It is run by lifelong artist & experienced professional framer Connel W. Francis, who is himself a born and bred Bristolian. We specialise in handmade bespoke frames crafted from responsibly sourced solid wood.
🪚 We offer custom picture framing for everything from original artwork and prints to photographs and unusual objects. Each frame is carefully made in-house — from cutting and joining the wood to applying a stain and finish — ensuring a unique and high-quality result every time.
🌿 Our commitment to eco-friendly picture framing means we only use FSC- and PEFC-certified timber — no plastic/polystyrene or MDF moulding. Just solid natural woods, chosen for their quality and sustainability.
🎨 Whether your style is modern and minimal, bold and colourful, or traditional and timeless, we’ll help you choose the right materials and design to bring your piece to life.
